Our youth are being brainwashed ???

I was recently on a trip to Ohio. Cracked out the AT to look in my nieces front yard. Found about .26 in clad. Anyway I noticed a group of pre-teen early teen boys across the street watching me with interest and trying to muster the courage to ask me what I was doing. Suddenly there was a chorus of voices asking "Are you with American Diggers?" I said No and packed it in. Where in the world did they get that assumption? Must be from the idiot,Holly-weird set.

Its a common condition among teenagers.

Most of them grow out of it eventually, thank goodness.

I had NO problems at all with the Diggers television show, but the "American Digger" Show made me sick to my stomach and unfortunatley gave us all a black eye I'm afraid...As detectorist we were sadly mis-represented (saying it nicely)

I had the same thing happen when I stopped at the car dealership where my buddy works and he wanted to see my At Pro and mess with it around the shrubs near the buildings.
Two of the mechanics came out of the shop and asked:
'that's really cool! do you know those two guys from that show, Diggers? They are kinda wierd but we watched that show a bunch of times. Figured you might know them since you all use that thing'...
