I know it must be rotten stuck at home in that kinda weather especially with detecting being
such a large part of your life.
But hey Bill, what's 3-4 weeks out of a lifetime nothin'.
When your fit you'll enjoy it even more.

Just think of how limber and spry you will be when you mend up completely. You'll be able to hunt for more hours and more days. I'm just glad I live 3000 miles from you so there will be some loot left for me.
I have this habit now of getting up. Turning on the computer and checking the forecast to look for a window when I might get out for and hour or two. Thursday looked good a few days ago but hight temp keeps getting lower and chance of rain keeps increasing. I'll be ready anyway.
In April, or May, it will be nice to not have to worry about weather. Then August comes and you start have to look for cooler weather and rain to soften up the ground a bit.
Take it easy, relax, you'll be back out before you know it.

I keep telling myself that. When I do I'm going to give it hell. 
Still don't have the staples out. Got a couple of hundred of those puppies. Could really set a detector off.
