I have not had much time lately to get my latest findings.
Last week we were invited my hunting partner and I for another regional partner to hunt a battlefield of the Spanish War of Independence (1808-1814) against the French Emperor Napoleon near the border of the Pyrenees .
Damn ground! hard as stone, but we got a good haul. My bag is packed with thirty musket balls, including English, French and Spanish, a bell of oxen, a button anonymous and a French uniform Regiment Line Infantry No. 75, and a brass piece of musket Spanish model 1801 or 1807, were equal, but remains of a iron backpack buckle, a large nail and some trash.
My friend got 100 musket balls, a good buckle and six buttons uniform, I have no photos.

Hello and thanks.
Possibly these relics come from a field of the Battle of Vitoria and Pamplona, south of the Pyrenees mountain range in 1813, one of the last battles of our war against the French. Possibly the Regiment. '75 Were reinforcements from France who were ambushed in Spanish and English troops under the Duke of Wellington.
For me, very exciting to have been there.

Wow, hard ground or not I'd love to hunt a place with those relics! Looks like you're really doing well there!!!

That's a nice group of finds made even more interesting by your research. Congratulations.
