I just retired so the Misses & I packed up the Garretts, fishing equip. and all of our trappings. Were heading south to Panama City Fla. Leaving the snow belt, we just hope the Mt. Passes are clear in W. Va. It will be nice to scoop for a change instead of digging everything. Taking our laptop so will update once in a while. Dig everything!!

That sounds great Dancer, be careful on your road trip and keep us posted on your finds. Good luck and have a great time.

Congrats on your retirement. Panama City Beach is beautiful. I was there last winter and saw people metal detecting on the beach.
I talked with several of them, and bought my first detector when I got back to Indiana.
When the spring breakers start showing up around the end of February it is time to get out of town.
Something that I did learn in Panama City was that there are two kinds of seniors....Jr. Seniors and Senior Seniors....
No one knows the age that you become a Senior Senior.

Ditto -- no more working for the man. Good luck and God's speed!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy your life to it's fullest and don't let anyone stand in the way of your happiness. You deserve the best.

Panama City ... the emerald green water is amazing.
Also dont pass up Fort Walton beach ... in fact there are many good beaches to hunt there.
