Our Fur Family Pictures

We've got two Boxers. The General (7) and Miss Maggie (she'll be 5 in July). General is about as mild and easy going unless he thinks you're a threat, then look out. He's had two knee surgeries......thank goodness he's only got two. He's also had 3 mast cell tumors removed. He's our six million dollar boy. The vet calls him a linebacker. He's built like a tank. Our little girl is timid till she gets to know you. She's a little love bug, scared of her own shadow unless General is by her side, than she knows that he's got her back and will protect her. It's comical at times. Also this is her "smile" picture. Yes, she will smile on command. What a small silly girl too filled with lots of fun energy. We call her our firecracker baby since she was born on July 4th. We love these guys like our own kids. Spoiled rotten also. :surprised: Then we also have Sammy the cat. He's 14 and rules the house. He's an inside cat 100% and will not go outside. We can leave the sliding doors open and he still won't go outside.

of your family. The portrait picture of the "General" is beautiful. It is funny how the little "Firecracker" is timid until the "General" is in the area to protect her. "Sammy" appears to be in good health at age 14. My Aunt in Kingsville, Texas, has a cat that looks almost like "Sammy" that is now 19 years old. You have a beautiful family, and I admire you for your love and devotion to them, you are a very loving, beautiful person. Thanks for sharing! Kelley (Texas) :)

Very nice group of pets, Nancy. Pets enrich our life in more ways than we realize. Unless they decide to eat the sofa, then, not so much. LOL.

Nancy, you are so fortunate to have such a wonderful group of pets but not as fortunate as they are to have such a wonderful master...thanks for sharing...

Thank you everyone. Yes, we are very fortunate to have such wonderful, smart, loving and fun fur babies. We wouldn't trade them for the world. I've got our little Firecracker laying on my feet and beside her is the big boy . No, it's not Larry laying by us, it's the General. Yeah, life is good! Thank you again.

He sure doesn't look like he's 14 years old. I love the picture of him within all the flowers.

He does not know he is that old either. But he is not as fast as he was, except in his mind.....
