We just now got our first detector .We went out to the lake where I grew up and this was our finds, all burried in the same hole .Tell us what you think we should do to find there value. The big ones all read silver (high tone) and all the little ones read gold (low tone).Notice the unmelted silver chain links on the back of the one.

I have found the same at beaches and it could be melted down silver or gold, but may be bits of beer cans. The area could have been the site of a bond fire on the beach. May be some older coins dropped close by from people livin it up around the fire pit. It pays to dig evrything, cause you never know!Way to go and have a good one!!!
