Our Daily Bread Devotional for March 17-23

Thanks, Bro. Martin, I enjoyed the humor & about our young men getting Bibles during the war & reading them--never thought abot it, as I was only 10 when the war ended--in my Uncle John's New Testament that I have after getting it-- after both he & my mother had passed away--he had written in it that he had gotten saved July 22, 1945 on my birthday, but only God knows if he was truly saved in his later years--he died of emphysema in his 50's!

He had been in the army & helped free the prisoners from the Concentration camps--lots of fire & smoke when he was in Italy & fighting in the war--He told me some of his war stories & he smoked Cigs (& my dad, who had Emphysema & Parkinson's Disease--they both really suffered from smoking at young ages & my brother, also)--Glad I never did & never had the desire to do so & too stingy to spend my money on them! But I do have COPD from second hand smoke! Anyway Thank you! :clapping: Ma
