Our Beautiful State

So much water and everything is so green...except for winter and all the ice. Thanks for posting these beautiful pictures. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)

I was always impressed with the shoreline along the great lakes. Don't know what I expected the first time I went to visit my son
up in Oscoda, but I was amazed it looked much the same as the ocean there. When I went back up later he was joining a polar bear club and there was 3 foot of ice with cars all around on it. That don't happen on the ocean here. Neat place. Great place to retire if you like the woods, fishing and hunting. He was telling me then that a lot of the Air Force guys bought homes there at Wursmith and right around there as they had the health care and access to the base. Not sure what happened later as they closed that base after he left. I assume without the health care of the AF, they relocated.

Thanks for the shots, very enjoyable looking at them.
