Thought I would peruse this forum mainly because I am considering getting another new machine to compliment my dfx. However upon first look I think I must have made a wrong turn based on the posts I read.Guess all the forums here are thankfully not as negative in general as what I have seen thus far guess I will go away and come back when the attitude has changed geez . <img src="/metal/html/frown.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":(">
 
Dave, I think you'll find all the wisdom, experience, and answers you could hope for here on this forum. There's A LOT of "history" that led to the posts you're referring to and that history doesn't affect most folks being able to answer a question based on objective experience. If two people or factions don't like each other, and one kicks sand in the face of the other, there's gonna be problems in the form of heated posts and bickering. Again, this fighting is always just under the surface at best but WON'T keep you from getting advice if that's what you really want. You might want to reconsider.... or not.

Thanks Andy I will most likely be posing a few in the weeks to come. There are so many choices these days with all the options and opinions its a little difficult to know what the more important considerations are. <img src="/metal/html/shocked.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":shock">
 
Dave don`t feel like the Lone Stranger!
I have been watching this for the past two weeks, and would not post.
This is the second time I`ve seen this go on, on all the forums I frequent.
I don`t understand why everytime Tesoro introduces a new model, things get out of hand.
I find it most unfortunate, and a detrement to Tesoro, their Dealers and users.
I really don`t know much, but have been using Tesoro Detectors for 2 yrs now. I use an Eldorado and a Cortes. I would be happy to share what little I know, if you have questions.
Just don`t abandon Tesoro, over what you`ve seen in the past few weeks.
 
It only gets like this when Tesoro comes out with a new detector or detectors. It should blow over soon.
