I am very new to this but I am getting good at using my Tesoro LOBO detector but I wanted to know what else people like to carry with them when out? I carry a plastic scoop that the guy that sold me my MD recommended. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. I also have a pair of hard knee pads. my wife says I look like a nerd with all my stuff but I don't care anymore. hahaha

Get a better digger. A metal on will stand up better. Also a pinpointer will be a great help.

A good digging tool, a small tarp/burlap/nylon cloth something to place your loose soil on to help you when you dig and will allow you to return the site the same as you came, a good digging tool, sunscreen and a stick to beat the women off you because of those knee pads.
