orx an warranty

I bought a used orx with a little more then two years left on the warranty. is the warranty transferrable on xp products. an if so, if something happened an I had to file on the warranty, how would I go about it?

Yes I believe you need the original receipt .

I do have the receipt where he bought the orx. do I have to notify xp or the dealer that I own it now? or just do nothing unless I needed to file on it? thanks for the info.
I believe just a copy will do for warranty your good with a receipt.

All you need is a copy of the original receipt, and call detector electronics and they'll send you a confirmation number to put on the box when you mail it.. they will not accept it if you just mail it,it hasto have that number on the box .. but yea, all you need is the original receipt ,that's all. .. I would make a copy of it and mail that, keep the original if you have it,,but definitely make a copy and mail one with the machine and keep one ...I've had warranty work done on XP units I've bought used with original receipt and had no problem with detector electronics..
