hey elton took the rocket for a test drive today. what a cool detector for it age and got good depth in all metal not so good in disc mode but a quiet running detector and cleaned up like new money I'll take it to the park tomorrow and run it over my test patch see what happens.

Sounds like you found a prety good detector..and the price of "Free" was definately right....I would think if you checked out old posts on the forum or lost trasure you could find a lot more information on them..If I find some more I will send it your way.

took it to the park today for about 3hrs the pinpointing dead on that was great. i also figured out u can work the controls with the index finger. so i run in all-metal mode when i hit a target i can move the disc setting up i found a spoon, key, 3 pennies, little screw driver, 1 dime and of course more lead sinkers. but when i got out of the cleaned area id run in disc mode right below bottle caps. the size of my holes are so much smaller with good pinpointing that's what made it a fun time. i can't seem to pinpoint with the ace like that i guess practice makes perfect (my son says no dad perfect practice makes perfect) anyway................later

Enjoy Mr. Warren. Keep us posted if you can.
