ORIGINAL SS coil question

Hello guys. Can anyone tell me if the ORIGINAL SS coils will work on the SSII and SS plus?? On the schematics the TX (.022 and .22)and RX (.015) coil loop capacitors are different on the original compaired to the II and Plus versions TX (.33/.033) and RX (.022). GH
 
Original Silver Sabre coils should work on the Silver Sabre II and Silver Sabre Plus. Any of the
 
i have a silver sabre coil off my old silver sabre and am running it on my silver umax. it doesn't appear to have any problems and in fact it pin points better than the donut coil that came with the silver umax.blowfly

I have an original Silver Saber with the 7 inch coil, don't have a Silver Sabre ll or Silver Saber Plus. This coil will work on all of my early Tesoros, which include Bandido, Bandido ll and Bandido ll
 
With Tesoro ID units the coil may have to be tuned by Tesoro to the unit for accurate ID but should work fine on non TID units...
 
I have been a Tesoro Lover from the Early 80's but got out of detecting for about 25 years. I am back now and am glad to find a group of guys very able and willing to help me re-aquaint myself with an excellent family of detectors. Thanks again, looking forward to talking to you all again and sharing what I can when I am able. Best, Phil
