Original Spectrum

I have a chance to own an original Whites Spectrum. Should I go for it? I have been using a Classic IDX Pro which I love, but something different is tempting. Any opinions?

They work great, not much of anything added to the new xlt cept maybe signagraph and of course the newer battery pack setup. Its a tad heavier than the xlt also, but seems to be balanced well enough.

A plus is the huge selection of coils available.

good luck

I had one and loved it but after a couple hours of hunting, it wore my arm out , that's the only problem that I had with it.. very capable machine... HH RichardnTn

If you really mean the original Spectrum then I would avoid it for one reason only ....the vertical LCD display. If it fails thats it as I think Whites ran out of replacements a few years back.
