Original BH Sharpshooter

 Hi, Just thought I would share something with anyone who owns a Bounty Hunter metal detector. I used to own a BH Sharpshooter II ( the round face box,...muffler on a stick look). It was a good unit but I could never get the notch and auto notch features to work right. I recently obtained the original first run production Sharpshooter. This is the one with the flat control box ( like Bud Lite Series). These came out in the 1990's. I have been testing this unit and I find that the notch and auto notch WORK RIGHT. Actually I wasn't too surprised because many BH users have said that the older flat body models worked a lot better than the newer oval shaped units. It seems to me that the world of detectors in general was very good in the 90's. Anyway, I am really liking this unit and can't wait to get it out in the field. Happy Hunting, RDF :detecting::bounty::cool:
