Oregon beaches?

Hey,a buddy and I are headed to the Oregon coast next week,was wondering if it's ok to detect there?area from canon beach to seaside and Astoria area! Any feed back would be great,never detected there before.... Thanks!!!!
 
All Oregon beaches are public property. You can detect on the beach area from the vegetation line seaward. Check out the state parks web page. http://www.oregon.gov/OPRD/PARKS/GoPlay/metal_detecting.shtml
