Ore Body

Just got back from a trip out west to nugget shoot with the Infinium LS. Found a neat old powder flask, spent .44 cal rim fire cartridge and metal button in the same wash in Gold Point area of Nevada. Not having much luck there went up to the Rye patch and searched for days until the dust finally took my breath and had to relocate again. Hit a metal target on a hill and began to dig only to discover a vein of ore about 18 inches thick. Got about 2 pounds for sample and have sent sample off for assay. Decided to crush some and pan this evening and not too surprisingly there was some gold in the sample. I've passed the Infinium over ore samples before and the best I could get was an interference in the threshold tone but never a positive signal. This one rung like a big piece of metal. I'll keep you posted when I get the assay report back. Am already shopping for a Hummer H-1 and have invited the Hooter's calender girls to join me for a road trip.........wait......better stand fast until the assay comes back....oh well, doesn't hurt to dream.
