Thank god I mentioned Bryce HIGHLY recommended this coil 'cause Kellyco then spared me the shipping.. I hope this improves my finds and allows me to jump up the sensitivity. Maybe I'll even get some m ore depth???????:clapping: If this is the "coil of choice" for a guy who's been at it for 30 + years, it must be good. BTW Bryce, I know a guy who looks just like u.

Also, I did see the photo of the freak of nature u call the Yeti. I know he's your good friend, but I do see why u call him that!:yikes:

You will love that coil! Been using one since this spring and have found lots of old coins with it. Great in trashy areas even for it's size, great seperation of small objects.

it WON'T make him mad....it will ONLY MAKE HIM MORE PROUD:crylol: :clapping:

Now you KNOW where I'm coming from when I try to point out the funny things that he does...or that happens to him when we hunt. It couldn't happen to anyone other than the Yeti.:bouncy: He is a GREAT guy...and a lot of fun.:super:

As for the 10 x 12 SEF coil....I kept my piehole quiet about it for some time.

I bet I had 50 pm's about that coil when it first came out and people wanted to know whether they should buy one.

I NEVER tell people to run out and buy a coil...and I would NEVER tell people I feel a coil is a good one if it isn't.

I said from the start...when everyone was raving about the pro coil..that the SEF coil was a WINNER...and it WAS my coil of choice.

I remember telling NealNOIn many months ago that it loved deep coins on edge...and had a knack for seein' injuns' at nice depths...and he has kicked some major buttocks with it.

No way would I tell my friends to run out and buy a coil if I wasn't putting some major hours on it with GREAT results. You see what the Yeti had on his machine too before we hunted the other day.

The 10 x 12 SEF coil is hands down the BEST coil I have ever used at multiple sites and for my settings. That doesn't mean it will do the same for you...but I give you my word...that to me...it's the best I've used so far....and I hope it works for you.

Oh...by the way...here is that world famous pic again of the me with the 11th wonder of the world:cool:...the Yeti.:jump: I hope it doesn't cause you to have bad dreams:smoke: :detecting:

You two look like a talented team for sure. Shoot...the three of us together would look like a circus sideshow.

Certainly did not mean to offend anyone on the Yeti thing, merely echoing your comments about a good friend of yours. Can't eait to located the coins on edge...I know I am missing most of these now. I still have to work on silver next to iron...this may take years.

BTW, have you seen the pic of me? I am sure there would be a few choice nicknames for me as well.

Aaron

i agree with amc_rulz...i like my 10x12 so much i ordered the 6x8 yesterday.

maybe they'll breed? :twodetecting:

I spend most of my hunt time at the beach but wouldn't mind giving one a try there. Not sure how it would do but everyone seems to love it for land hunting.
If it's as stable as everyone feels then it should be great in the sand.

If I saw those two in a park hunting, they'd have it all to themselves, as as soon as I made it back to my car. Jim
