Opinions on the straight shaft setup for the Sov. Elite. Thanks

i hip mount all my Sov's and use Plugger strait shafts.sure takes all the weight off!

I use the shaft from a GT on the Elite also. But I hip mount with it. Actually I use the GT shaft for my Excalibur too. I use Plugger's harness with that. The s rods were not very ergonomic. It is all about duration of hunting. Get the weight off.

Straight shaft for the Sovereign transforms its handling from a dump truck into a sports car.Plugger's make a very nice conversion kit.For those who want to make their own from my experience this usually will cost more time and money anticipated.

Hey George,
A Straight Shaft is the O-N-L-Y WAY to GO!! I used a SOV-GT for several yrs., before selling it after I got my F-75 LTD!! I know PLUGGER is working on a New CHEST MOUNT Design for
the SOV S', but I had one of his Straight Shafts for my SOV-GT, and THEY ARE 1ST RATE QUALITY, and I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM. If you decide to go with a CHEST MOUNT Design,
then you CAN GET BY with USING the S-SHAFT or MINELAB GT Straight Shaft with just the COIL MOUNTED ON IT, and save some money!! Check his EBAY Website: Rods By Plugger.Com. HH, Les
