Opinions on a 5.75 coil on an older UMax Conquestador

I have a 9X8 original coil on my detector now. I have studied the forums and tend to think that a smaller coil "could" help in some trashy areas like tot lots and other urban digs. Along sidewalks, around trees in the parking strip etc.. I'd like some input on what some of you may think. I'm not so concerned about depth as just getting a little more exact about location and getting a little closer to fences and gym equipment. On open areas I'm satisfied with the original coil for my style of hunting. On a fixed income I can't just buy and sell what does and doesn't work. The price of the new coil can be done but want an even chance at not wasting my bread. Of course I have to make the choice. Just some feedback would be nice. Thanx.

I just put one on my Cibola and it will never come off unless I am beach or relic hunting. If you get one you will be glad you did. And you will not lose much depth. HH

I use that coil and the 7"concentric quite often on my Conquistador or Silver Sabre
