Opinion On Good Water Detector

tink

New member
Hi all, I am going to be doing alot of beach detecting on the coast. Wanted to know what is a good solid detector for salt water detecting. I don't plan to dive with it but I do intend to go into the surf and waves with it.

Would appreciate any and all advise on what you use, like and some inforamtion on the machines available.

Well, there are some varied opinions on that but in my neck of the woods almost all the water hunters use an Excalibur. I have a CZ 20 myself although I don't usee it that often... nice machine.
