Just 3 of my favorite dig sites. The local drive-in (in business for 40 years) is a veritable treasure trove. I made a deal with the owner to share the loot, and it's amazing the amount of coin that shows up on the way to and from the snack bar.
A local gun club's been running out of doors shows for 50 years,
and recently swept the grounds there, and will be back again and again.
Dropped brass cartridge cases show up on Ace-250 as pull tabs, but ring like a quarter. (BONG) but there is plenty of coin on the grounds too. Be careful of course of digging live rounds which may be there. At the price of copper these days, it may be fruitful to dig
around the firing line when vacant.
A local honky tonk bar with a gravel parking lot has yielded a couple of wedding rings and one small karat engagement ring. I can just hear a country tune out of this episode. There's a video there for someone.
Regards,
Good diggin's,
Roger
