Dug my third half dime in 6 months AND this is my second out of this location. My buddy found one a few weeks ago.

Also found what I think is a carved miniball. This is the greatest hobby in the world. Love South Texas in the winter.

Thats pretty kewl. I have that one eluding me. Found an 1877 seated couple weeks back, but no half dime yet. And I hunt a lot of old spots that certainly could produce one.

John

I'm still waiting in a dime. :)

They have never been really deep. That's the cool thing.

Congrats. Still on my wish list but def happy for you!

Love those Half Dimes - a big congrats !

The one's I've found came in - FE (12) - CO (39).

Very nice dig!!!! I'm jealous, and congrats.
I have yet to dig up a half dime.....maybe this season??? (as a Cubs fan would say)

congratulations on finding a half dime. :clapping:

that tells me youre doing good on research! or sometimes you just get lucky and stumble into a spot like that for no reason. i found a bunch of really old 1800s coins in a spot that i just stumbled into. there never appeared to be anything there, just a random hot spot. large cents, an inch or two deep, other coins as well, spanish 1/2 reale, etc.

Great find! Still waiting on my first half dime.

Man that is Awesome! Those Half Dimes are hard to find and your on a hot site to pull that many from. Great job and keep it up!

I like the carved "pumpkin" ball. I found 2 half dimes in one week in the same area in one of my favorite parks...............NGE
