Dug a nice cast pewter wax seal, a bit of spanish silver, a real crude one piece cast button, half an old shoe buckle, a bullet, and a victorian era broach. I just might be onto the oldest part of the farm after all! Thanks fer looking, and good luck.

Is the piece in the center the wax seal ?

the wax seal is 20mm wide, and the rear spikes are 9mm apart. it appears to be rough cast pewter, heavy, and a first for me. thanks, and good luck!

over the years i have dug one similar but never knew what it was.

This is the type of stuff that attracted me to relic hunting. Love the colonial era
