Only two finds before the heat got me... One worn out Indian, and a jacked up eagle button:tongue:

Got a kind of a late start today.. I found a new park so i wanted to give it a try The place is not in the best location of town.. right off the bat I heard some screaming over my headphones, I took the off and looked around.. off to my left there was two ladies going at it.. screaming and hollering at each other:argue:.. One had a liquor bottle in her hand waving it around like an idiot, then she shattered it across the stop sign on the edge of the street. lol And this was at 8 am lol So i kind of poked my way around the park trying to listen to my detector and keep an eye on my surroundings  The ground is still extremely dry but I did get a 1902 Indian and a Eagle button :detecting: It started to get pretty hot so I decided to call it quites before the heat killed me or i got stabbed :surrender: Cant wait till it rains so I can see what else I can pull out of there...
Thanks for looking :)

It didnt rain over your way? Man it poured down here Wed... flooded the fields again. Its been a little HOT to hunt.... but i still got out and ran, im not too bright. Hopeing the ground isnt too dry tomorrow that we need a hammer and chisel. Looks like the place has some potential. Nice finds...

That's a spot to go back to Derrell! Yep, you have to constantly be aware of your surroundings at parks like that. I frequently travel to my local "barrio" parks, and there's always something going on there.

Nice job on the injun and eagle button! I'd take either of those over a merc/rosie any day. The injuns are much more infrequent than the common silvers here in S. Cal.
