While on a work trip in north central Texas we spent the night in Brownwood. Normally when we have a little time in the evenings I grab my camera and walk around to see what I can get in to. Just as the sun was going down we ran across the old Brown County jail build in 1903. Who would have ever thought a Texas jail would resemble a castle? It's a beautiful old building for sure, even the pigeons love it..... BUT TEXAS???

a member. You post some great pictures and information about them, and I for one always look forward to them. Kelley (Texas) :)

thanks for the very kind words...this is a great forum to be involved with... and thank you for your hard work to keep it interesting and going the right direction

I bet they didn't treat the residents like they lived in castle. I love the photography and also the story behind the photos. It would be interesting to tour the museum. Thank you Frank.
