I hit a few parks about 30 miles north. I found the St. Christopher with a surfer on the other side, a BSA scarf slide (my second one but this looks older and a 1945s wheat. 66 coins for $4.26. Stopped at some banks for some halves. One machine roll had a 1986 Statue of Liberty half in it. The didn

Pretty neat St. Christopher Medallion. I found this one last year:

I believe it was a pin back brooch and you can see the remains of a pin on the reverse, across the head. Its made of brass and I almost tossed it as trash. When I first recovered it, it was just a mass of crusty gunk and dirt. "Toasty" as Les would say.
 
Looks nice Neil. I wouldn't mind finding an oldie like that here on the left coast.

Actually, it has many attributes of a modern stamping. What signals it's "oldie" status?
