Since Dec. 18 we have received almost 40" of snow in Virginia. That is a lot of snow in Virginia. They keep plowing and keep blocking my driveway so we cant get out. Well today I exercised my right to FREEDOM of SPEECH. I hate winter. TomB

Sorry to to say Tom I'm one of those guys that plow driveways shut. We don't want to but we have no other place to put the snow. Atleast you don't stand in front of the driveway making sure the plow driver doesn't put snow there! Yours is pretty good tho!! I suppose I will get yelled at by most everyone here now!! lol I am ready for spring:surrender:

snowing here again!

By tomorrow you might have to revise that to 60 inches Tom.

Jack...I have nothing but respect for the guys with VDOT who clear our highways during snow storms. They do a great job and my hat is off to them. I was speaking of the contract drivers, who furnish their own equipment, and know very little about pushing snow. The road in front of my residence was clear of all snow and ice. This clown was trying to push 4' of snow on the side with no where to push it. The only thing he was doing was blocking every ones driveways. He did this four times before a call to VDOT finally stooped him. I got a call back from VDOT think me for the call and stating the situation had been corrected. I was a cop for over 30 years and a lot of people called us pigs. I knew they were not talking about me because I wasn't a pig.Sorry if I offended. TomB

No offence taken at all! I know exactly what you mean about contract drivers. They can be a real pain at times. If I was going by your house I would turn the plow the other way!:geek:
