I know this is the Classic forum but some people might be interested. Worked some old cellar holes today but came up empty so stopped on the way home at the old CYO camp I was working last year and decided to work the Soc. field, never got must there, but today paid off 1945 S/L half dollar @ about 8"s. F75 LTD 11" coil All Metals 90 Sen., she came in at "93" with a full confid. reading, I was dumb- founded cause the area I was in was a CAN-Slaw area going off in the 70s ID range, but this 93 was to good of a sound not to dig.

Nice coin. That sucker was deep. Haven't found one of those in many years.
