It showed up Monday and I saw the box for a few seconds on the truck then waved goodbuy as it headed back to AZ.....lol
I doubt my sites are really any better than anyone elses???? I may be more persistant in my hunting as I'm retired so I have the time and my days are numbered with snow creeping down the mtn so there's a big push before I have to quit for the winter. Half my coins come from public...the other half from private. Both have pros and cons......imo
I ended up buying a tejon and just got it today (of course it's raining again) so have been doing some air tests indoors and a few outdoors also. Pretty impressive even with the high disc I like. The GSII with running notch and high disc was about a 4-5" machine in reality on a silver dime. Looks like I should gain an EASY inch or two on silver dime when I switch the Tejon over on disc 2 to check targets...???? I'm excited to try it out but I can already tell I'm gonna love the 2 disc and the tone adjust for starters........ Not familiar with GB yet but hope that'll help optimize the machine in what I guess is high mineralization around here......
My future finds should tell the story as I've always felt I was comming up a tad short with all the "iffy" whispers I usually hear with the GSII. But damn!......that GSII has dug me one hell of a lot of coins over the years....no complaints!!!!!!
Good for you. Look up Monte and some of his posts. I find power balancing very easy to do and leaves no room for guessing. Not sure about the tejon but the Outlaw as well as many others have a tendency to go pos or neg once switched to disc mode. Lots of luck to you.
