One Yard Bananza

Well-known member
While out camping, we went detecting. Hit a couple places and didn't do much of anything till the last place. We saw there was a vacant home and there happen to be a guy mowing it so we stopped and Larry talked to the guy about detecting the yard. After a phone call, the owner said we could. Well, I didn't last long and didn't find much of anything there. I did find an old junk ring and a few clad coins. Then we went to another and I hit the jackpot. I found two Indian cents 1902 -1906, 1952 Quarter, 13 Wheats, 1 Boy Scout pocket token, and a token good for 5 cents in trade at Kenney & Kenney. I can't find any info on the Kenney token. There's no town either. The coins weren't more than 3" down. One of the Indian cents was about an inch and a half deep. Unreal. All in all we had a good time. I'm ready to go back.

By the way, I had to buy dinner that night since I found the oldest coin.

The weather was unbelievable. Wish it would stay like this.

Thanks for looking and HH,
Nancy
