One wonders...

Seems like some fellows just can'r get decent depth from the original Explorer XS while others say wny upgrade to the 11 model as my XS works great for depth, even heard of some fellows that upgraded to the 11 and what a difference,One wonders is the 11 model a superior unit or do some of these XS owners perhaps need a checkup at Minelab, mineralization is killing them or perhaps their settings are the culprit..In any case surely makes one wonder..some XS owners including myself get great depth while others do not..Perhaps some that have owned both could give some insight or can calibration be in order for the fellows having difficulties...or perhps a mentor is the answer. Always felt Explorers are not for everyone, but I feel they have the best guts of any on the planet and those that master them do quite well with them...Input appreciated.....

I don't think I've heard of anybody that has both the XS and XSII that thought the II was deeper. And Minelab certainly did not advertise it as being so.
