had a great weekend hunting. Went out yesterday to a local Omaha park and pulled up a few wheat's at first. Knew there had to be some silver in this park. Park is only 60 years old but wheat's are always a good sign. Eventually got two 1961 Rosie's. Combine that with the four wheat's and that to me is a good day. Today I took my brother to a small town park in Western Iowa. Very trashy but old park. Was not finding anything until I got a solid 82-83 on my AT Pro. At about three inches I pulled out a 1911-D Barber dime. SWEET! Brother and I still were not even getting any clad or newer coins which was very strange. Went to the SE section of this old park where it looks like there was an old entrance sign at one time. Got a solid 91-92 at 4". We dug a bunch of pop can lids today so I figured that was another. Dug down an pulled out a 1934-D Walker Half! In a park that must have been hit at least once since we were finding no newer coins. 4 silver on the weekend is a good one for me.
10 silver on the year with 4 of them being Barbers. Loving this AT Pro.
HH all. Will post pics soon.
