One Way Signals

I'm curious to hear from other members about digging one way signals with the Nox. I am yet to dig a good target on one way signals. After a few dozen it's always been iron.

I am curious what you are calling a one way signal, id signal or tone signal. I am not trying to be to critical but there is a difference in my opinion. I need tone two ways but not ID numbers on the deep ones.

One way signal to me is a mixed tone most of the time. The way my bins are set up, and im using AM to keep the iron tones lower, i might get that one higher tone that doesnt sound like minerals...... you know the -5 -6 on the screen. Those i might check because i may get a repeat as i investigate that target. I got one gold ring that away with stones..... they can act differently, but in the bucket i also got a very tiny iron chain and fish hook. If i was dirt digging thou........ man that would be way to many holes to dig in a day unless i was really working a very small area.

I did a video with a minie ball beside 3 IRON square nails, not the steel nails you get from today's hardware stores. The bullet showed good 1 way, tone and vdi.

I've have about a 5 % success positive rate on one way signals. Over 40 years of hunting no mater what machine I was using. This new Minelab has changed the game.

I found three silvers in three hunts in park spots the other tenured tectors quit hunting, right after getting the 600. They were one way hits for the most part. Believe me, in this city, a silver in local parks in three hunts in a row with a new machine, is orgasmic. Great detector

keep digging them
sooner or later you will dig up silver or gold next to iron :)

A smaller coil may help in some situations

I always dig them if they are a good signal I was in a field yesterday digging very faint high tones I got one barbrer a 1902 but that was a sold hit all the other faint signals were deep cut nails..

My parks are so junky that if I only dug two-way signals, I would hardly dig at all! It is a treat to get a good tone all by itself....
