One way signals.

What does a one way signal mean on the XS?
If I swing from right to left and hear a good signal, but on return swing left to right the signal is gone but right to left it appears again, should the signal be dug? I usually dig all repeatable signals but should I be digging this type of signal too?

I dont get many liket hat.. try working the signal with very tight left to right swing.. you can usually get it to lock in.. I do get signals that lock from one angle but not another.. I go by the sound of those as it might be a coin by iron or just falsing off the side of iron.. trust the audio

It has been my experience that these are not good target signals but I have had friends tell me that they have found many coins this way. How is that for a helpful statement? Try digging some to see for yourself and report back to us. Experience and sharing of knowlege are the wonderfullearning tools of this sport.
Have a Great Day...

On any signal I get now I will try from a differnt angle, so if I get one that is questionable I will turn 90 degrees and come at it again and if I still get a questionable I may go all around it and check it. Many have been one way the first time, but when turned they are very repeatable while others I get it only one way and they have been junk most everytime. I think it is just falsing off of junk and if you turn you will find they either move or lose them completly in a null.
When in quetion always dig, I have buckets of junk this way, but also have a few deep coins, but overall the ones that are questionale i dig have been trash. those I get to repeat by going around the target and getting it to repeat from more than one angle have been good.
Good Luck
Rick
