TODAY I GOT UP EARLY TO BEAT THE HEAT ,I GOT TO THE SPOT AND PULLED OUT MY M-6 AND ZEROED IT IN AND THE SPRINKLERS CAME ON SO I PACKED UP AND WENT TO THE BALL FEILD WAS DETECTING 5 MINUTS AND A GUY WANTED TO KNOW WHAT I WAS DOING I TOLD HIM AND HE SAID HIS FAMILY OWNS THE OLDEST HOUSES IN SODERVILLE AND HE WOULD ASK PERMISSION FROM HIS BROTHER WOPEY NOW I CAN GET SOME SILVER COINS THE M-6 IS WORKING GOOD UNMASTAKEBLE WHEN YOU HIT A QUARTER IM GETING USED TO THE SOUNDS I LOCATED A QURTER AT 9" WAS TO LAZEY TO DIG IT WILL TRY TOMORROW DAY GON GOOD DETECTOR

What head are you using on your M-6 Standard coil or the ECLIPSE 5.3? If both which do you like best. Thanks

im using the 9.5 stock coil and i dont like it in junky eareas i did a quarter test last nite , and on the suface it reads +83 but when i buried it 4" it read +93 then i buried it deeper 6 in and it was faint and registered +94 and at 7" it was silent no matter what i did now the sand was bone dry so that will efect it but i figured that if you calculate 75%of the with of the coil which really is 8" then i get 6" and thats proven tru for me but an old coin whith a halo and damp ground maybe a bit deeper and im geting a 5.3 coil to replace the stock coil listing to the pro's i think it will do me well if i want to go deep i will get the 12" that will go 8" confidantly
