One stinking Memorial but happy as can be - - -

I am usually a field hunter but most of them are planted and I had to move to a yard tonight. I only found one penny but I am still pretty happy. I was pretty happy when I dug a silver looking thimble but was amazingly happy when I saw it said, "drink Coca Cola in bottles". I dug a silver dollar sized Army medallion, a watch fob with an eagle on it, and a nice snow flake button. I also got two pieces of "play dough". Enjoyed my first yard hunt in a long time. I like these odd things better than most coins. Hope to get back out tomorrow.

Very nice finds! Love the thimble. Did some searches on the play dough tokens and am finding nothing. All keepers in my book!

The thimble has been a big hit with people. It was my favorite. I think the large eagle is off of a WWII Army dress hat. You can see on the back where it broke off of something. The play dough looked like real coins when I dug them. I thought the big one was a foreign coin of some kind. I really like finding this kind of stuff as much as money. Thanks, for looking.
