One of the things I like about CZ's

Is that they gobble up old nickels that detectorist with other brands leave behind.
Got this 1903 V Nickel at an old church today

Good Job! My CZ3d loves them also! I found 15 Jeffersons yesterday.

CZ's have both 5 and 15 freq. to get the upper and lower range coins all in one..Dial in it has one of the tightest nickle meter facets in the business and that sort of explains it all....

Luv those older coins! Yep...the CZ's are nickel monsters for sure. I especially like to go to those worked out spots with the small 5" coil and rescue a handful of nickels...both old and new.
Nice job!

I've had my CZ-5 for years and is still one of my favorite for coin and relic. It's the deepest even over my GT. THe only thing deeper is my Pulse machines. I have dug over 14 rings with it several in wet sand. HH ! Sandmagnet

Immediately the nickel findings were what I like the best. I wanted a smaller coil so I upgraded to a cz6a and ever since it has not been the same. Supposedly the upgrade came with a recalibration but the small coil i got never id'd correctly. Nickels came in as foil as did foil. Nickel ids were all pulltab. Had to send the small coil back and am now using the standard coil. Anyone have a similar problem?
