I'm still thinking about the D200 in a couple months. Just wondering if you are still liking yours? I thought I would wait until Nikon shipps ample supply for the price to drop some. I would have to sell my D70 and just not sure if it's worth it.
 
Nice bird. Seems a little soft though, may be due to the resizing though. In Photoshop I assume you lightened up the shadows, correct? So what did you do in Photoshop?
 
It's cropped a bit.

No lightening of the shadows.
Processed with the Raw File Converter in CS2.

Adjusted the shadows (darkened)
Some contrast adjustment
Some brightness adjustment.
I don't recall the exact settings though.

There appeared to be some pretty strong light on one side of the chicken. I was pretty certain you didn't setup any fill lighting so I figured you put your Photoshop mastery to use. :D
