One of my favorite shots of one of my 2 cats

Holy Smokes! What a beautiful picture of your cat.

Well done Dave. If you are not a professional photographer, you have a good back-up to your present job...........

Beautiful pictures. You sure do have a talent!

Another nice shot, Dave. What lens did you use on this one? I much more prefer landscapes in my personal photography, but I do have a portrait lens. But, when I bought it I had in mind taking portraits of people's pets instead of the people themselves. I think there's a good market for portraits of pets. I have a charcoal and pencil drawing of my German Shorthair that I absolutely think is the best piece of art I have.

that I don't have now but I have lenses in that range. Did you do the charcoal portrait that you have or did some other artist do it? You could post that too....would be interesting to see.

I wish I had the talent to be an artist. The sketch was done by my ex-sister-in-law, Anna Goulet. She has natural talent. I believe her father had some art skills, but as far as I remember, other than her father giving her some pointers, she's pretty much self taught. This was my ol' boy, Zack. I had him for 12.5 years before he finally went on to the bird fields in the sky. He was, without a doubt, the best dog I've ever owned. Sorry that the photo is a little soft, but it's framed behind glass.

What a handsome boy. Beautiful portrait of Zack. Yes, she's very talented.
