One nice day!

Man, I had to take off my coat and hunt in a tee shirt! Hard to believe I was ice fishing last weekend.

I managed to get in a couple fields and found the two Canadian Tokens 1841? and 1850 too bad the fertilizer got to them. The 1850 seems to have a die crack across the face, it is not a scratch but is raised. Also found a few buttons and bullets. Then I got permission to hunt a yard that goes back to the 1860 at least. Super nice, old couple said sure go ahead. I guess you can tell the two cent and IH came from their yard. Much nicer shape.

Sure was fun to get out and do some hunting and what a day!

great finds. Your token you thought to be 1841 is actually an 1844.
A pretty common find in these parts...but still a good find, especially for your area.

Love the 2 cent piece. Wish I could find one...but I'd imagine they aren't too common in Canada. As your finds show though...one just never knows.

Nice finds Robin and the clarity of the 2 cent piece is really great. Way to go. I guess fertilizer isn't much help to anything except the crops. At least you can see what they are. That's also a very nice Indian Head Cent withe Liberty clearly legible on the band.
