Ain't the prettiest thing going but it the oldest copper coin I have dug, so I figured might as well post it. The strike is off center which eliminated the date. <img src="/metal/html/frown.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":("> Oh well, pre 1650 ain't too shabby on this side of the big pond <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
 
But I still like the button <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
 
Strange huh, never found a tooled button in 5 years than two in one month. <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D"> The same thing happend with silver thimbles this year. I had only found one up to this Spring and dug two in a week, than another about a month later.
It sure was a great week for coins! <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D"> but I like the button. <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
