Finally got out at the old scout camp. Haven't done much digging lately with the Missouri firearm deer season and weddings but glad to have gotten in one more dig before everything freezes up.
We had two solid days of rain early in the week so ground was saturated and easy digging. Dug for three hours with 5 Lincolns and five wheats with the oldest being 1944. Tenth coin pulled up was 1948 Roosevelt which made the morning. Have hit this place over and over and it keeps producing. Every coin I found was down three to eight inches. Nothing shallow left. So far, the camp has given up 262 coins including 20 silver and 1 buffalo. That soaked ground really helps.
