Yes, I do have Sun Ray's stand/ 1/4" phone jack. I was wondering if there is any difference in the sound quality of the different models of Gray Ghost phones or if they are all the same?
I think I have decided to purchase the Ultimate Gray Ghost headphones.
(I am asking if there is any difference in sound for future reference.)
Also, I have programed my machine with 'Charles Rock solid Set Up' and 'Mikes settings.' So I will go out(hopefully this eve)and give it a whirl! Thankyou everyone who has helped me out with the headphones.......Bill/Eastern Wash.

Hi Bill,
I'll let you know today after I compare the Deep Woods to the Gray Ghost NDT's!! I'm off for a few hour hunt with my new phones!! Good hunting- Brian

I have test the top three headphones and found that the cheaper KW pros are loud and clear for me to hear the difference in coin sounds but they have been replaced with the E-S 9000 which I have not used. the Black Widows are good also, my backup headphones are the ear bud type made by optimus 33-1991 you will not believe the sound in these little things for $19.00 but the cord is only 4' long at R.S., you will need an extension.

The sound is pretty much the same.. just different switches, cords etc

Hi Bill,
Well, I went out for a quick 1 1/2 hour hunt. One thing I noticed with the NDT's is they have enough audio "punch" to rock the headphones off my ears!! My ears must be really sensitive because I could only handle the volume turned up just a touch. I have to say that they have more volume than my Killer B's. Needless to say, I didn't find much. I was after IH cents and nickels and got skunked at this particular park. I really think you can't go wrong with any Gray Ghost headphone. I remember when I first invested in a pair of quality headphones that's when I started to find the coins I used to dream of. One more thing about the Gray Ghost line as winter approaches........they really keep your ears warm in cold weather!! They don't allow any wind to creep in and chill your ears. Good luck in your choice- Brian
p.s. As Jim stated I believe all Gray Ghost headphones sound the same but every one has different cosmetic features (like single volume/dual volume controls, etc.)
