One more go on this old coin

B.T. it looks to me like someone made an impression with another coin like a Hardtimes token. I inverted the pic and you can now see the letters going backwards. I have found lead impressions like this with Large cents. HH

but I did a little tweaking(no...not on meth:)) and this is what the photo did. I reversed, added contrast and sharpened the edges. One of the words appear to read "HEREND" The last word kind of looks like either "PIDELL" or "FIDELL". I searched Herend and only found a fine china company from Europe.

Or more likely.

A lead sealer. Loose insert in a tool used to seal sacks or chests for overseas or even short shipment.

The seal itself was often made on the spot from lead.

Well you have all seen what the finished lead seal look like i presume.
 
Thanks heaps guys. Now its starting to make some sense. A seal or backward type impression clicks.
