I just got my Garrett Ace 150 today, while I was taking everything out of the box my 2 year old son pushed the on/off button and turned the detector on before I had the coil attached. Will turning on a detector without the coil hooked up hurt anything? Guess I am kind of paranoid, hate to break something before I get to use it. Boy are 2 year old boys busy. Thanks! Steve.
