I went on another mining expedition with the SE, Andy and his friend Kyle from Connecticut joined in on the adventure. Kyle found mostly modern coins, Andy came up with an 1810 half penny, 1 Merc, 2 war nickels and other misc. coins. For me the tally was 1 Merc,
some wheats, memorials, zincs and some type of small badge. The badge is probably from the colonial period, just guessing. The photo of the Merc is not very good, thanks for looking and HH........................John

I would take a lonely merc any day ......great finds !!!

Nice find. A silver day is a good day; the hunt is what it's all about. Think of this hunt on a day that winds up a wash out!
