Just about got skunked today. Doug and I met up at our little honey hole. Doug hit a nice Indian and a Barber dime today. His Barber was an 1897 so he made the 1800's club this year also. He also found out that the E-Trac's do go deep. You should have seen the sweat rolling off his forehead from digging out his finds. Doug had to leave a little early today so I stayed behind about an other hour. I was able to find just one lonely dime. It was a good one though. It's taken me 30 years to find my first Barber Dime and now I have found 3 in the last week. I'm really glad that I stuck it out for that hour. The gnats were drawing my blood and checking my blood sugar for me. That's why I bailed out early myself today. I hope that some of you guy's were able to get out detecting.
