One little piece of lunchtime silver

Detected a historic park in my home city while on my lunch break...
In 1917 there was a fire at the top of the hill which burned down the college at the top. Here is a photo of that fire.

They built a memorial to the original structure which stands to this day.

It was windy as heck with that blizzard to our East

At least I came away with one lunchtime silver...

Over the years this park has given up silver, and a large cent to me, and many other interesting finds for other detectorists....We are fortunate to have such a place to detect.

Awesome place and great photos too!

Nice spot and nice pull.

Thanks.. I miss California weather...I was out in San Jose for work..The folks out there were too laid back compared to us New Yorkers

College Hill still givin it up after all these years. Of course they may steal your wallet and detector while your there but that's the cost of doing business.
