One Little Indian

Got out in the yard today for about fifteen minutes to give the new sunray x5 a try.. went over a spot that I have hit many times before with stock coil... First and only dig of the night ended up being an 1893 injun! A little dirty but details are all there... Also found out today at the baby doc that the twin boys should be here within a week!!

Pulled a 1934 quarter from a co-workers lawn a week or two ago as well.. Other than that been too busy to get out there and dig...

Hope everyone is doing well! Looking forward to seeing everyone at the meeting..

Neil

Great going Neal. It's always fun to pull an Indian out. Congrats on the quarter also.

Most of all...............We can't wait till those boys are born. YAHOO X TWO !!!!!! Get those cigars ready!!!!!

I guess you would look a little dirty after 100+ years too. Nice find!!

I wish I had an excuse like that.

I love finding Indians, congrats.

I have not found an Indian yet. What DVI number do they register as on a White M6? Same as a copper penny?

Ned

I love finding those dang indians... Thanks for the comments guys/gals ;)
Ned - I myself have yet to run a whites machine but on the etrac they do ring up a bit lower than a typical penny... Nancy and Larry have posted some whites VDI numbers for an MXT on another thread here I was able to find:
http://www.findmall.com/read.php?25,1590175,1592475

Not sure if those VDI numbers would be the same as what you would see on your M6 but I would guess they would be very close.
Good luck out there!
Neil

Yes, Neal found the post. (Thanks Neal!) The M-6 is similar to the MXT and will read the same. The Indians are a very jumpy signal at times. IF it's deep, dig! HH, Nancy

Excellent finds. I bet General Custer would have appreciated one less indian. :surrender:
